Introducing Daymark - my new TV tracking website

TV tracking has been part of NewEnigma for a long time. I originally added it because I wanted somewhere to keep track of the shows I was watching and the episodes I'd seen.
Over the years it has grown a little, but it has always really been a small part of NewEnigma and something I've primarily used myself.
Recently I've been working on something rather more dedicated to the job: Daymark.
Daymark is a new TV tracking website built around a simple television calendar. You can follow the shows you're interested in, see upcoming episodes in your calendar and keep track of the episodes you've watched.

There's also a full catalogue of shows to browse, with information about individual series and episodes, and if something is missing from the catalogue it can be requested.
I've deliberately kept Daymark focused on television rather than trying to make it another general-purpose media tracker. The aim is simply to make it easy to answer two questions: what am I watching, and when is the next episode?
It's still fairly new and I'm continuing to work on it, but it's now the place where I'll be concentrating my TV-tracking development.
If you're looking for a simple TV show tracker and television calendar, you can take a look at Daymark.
What about TV tracking on NewEnigma?
For the time being, the existing TV section here on NewEnigma isn't going anywhere.
However, now that Daymark exists, it doesn't make much sense to maintain two different TV tracking systems indefinitely. At some point in the future I therefore expect to retire the TV section of NewEnigma and keep television tracking entirely on Daymark.
There's no immediate timetable for that, and I'll post another update here before anything changes.
NewEnigma itself will continue as normal. Separating the TV tracker out simply means I can develop Daymark specifically around TV tracking while keeping NewEnigma focused on everything else that's accumulated here over the years.
If you fancy giving the new site a try, head over to Daymark.
